Hello,
The Fountain of Youth may exist only in legend, but we think that organic olive oil comes pretty close. Our once-a-year sale on Núñez de Prado Extra Virgin Olive Oil is happening now! In honor, we share our favorite places to travel in Andalusia, Spain, including a video featuring celebrity tastemaker Padma Lakshmi at the Núñez de Prado Estate.

Tia Kemp
DHC fans, we have some exciting new videos making their debut on our website. The woman behind them, Tia Kemp, 24, our Video Production Specialist, became interested in film editing through her love of fashion and style. “We all have to wear clothes to be civilized, but I love the fact that they can change your mood and give you another way to express yourself,” she says. Her other |
| interests include gymnastics—she’s a former state champion!—and learning German. Her DHC favorites keep her combination-oily skin in check. She loves Washing Powder—"I like the fact that it is powdery and has a pH close to that of my skin." Balancing Lotion keeps her skin fresh. And Acerola Gel is one of Tia’s must-haves. “Every time I put this on, I literally say, 'Ahh, feels so good.'" |

Baena The town dates to Roman times and is known for the olive groves—the Núñez de Prado mill has been producing olive oil since 1795. Other notable landmarks include the historic castle ruins as well as the centuries-old gothic Church of Santa Maria la Mayor. "Baena is an adorable and |

traditional old-world town with narrow, winding streets and some great restaurants," Gary says. |

Córdoba The Great Mosque is definitely not to be missed when visiting Andalusia. Originally a mosque, it was converted to a Catholic church during the Reconquista of Spain in 1236. |

Seville "Seville has to be one of my favorite cities in the world," Gary says. While in Seville, make time for the Seville Cathedral, the largest gothic church in the world, and the burial site of Christopher Columbus.
the Alcazar, a royal palace, is next to the church. "It has beautiful gardens that are actually on the second story so they have sophisticated drains to take the water away," Gary says. |

Favorite family activity?
Loading everyone in the car and seeking out new adventures without an agenda. Half the fun of a trip is the journey there!
Most memorable trip/vacation:
It was one of those spur-of-the-moment decisions when our family decided to drive to Rhode Island and find a place to stay on the beach. We drove
through torrential rain on the way but when we crossed the border, the skies cleared, we found a beautiful place to stay and we enjoyed three days of glorious weather, wonderful food and each other.
What is your No. 1 piece of traveling advice?
Bring a travel journal along to record each day’s events.

Our older son started keeping a travel journal, too!
