Not as nice as the Mild Lotion

Comments about DHC Mild Lotion II:
I use the Mild Lotion under Rich Moisture each morning. I thought I would try the Mild Lotion II. It has the distinct smell of witch hazel, which isn't bad, but I do prefer a product with no scent. I think it is more drying than Mild Lotion. I won't be ordering it again.

Great for combination skin

My skin has become very dry on my forehead but is still oily elsewhere. Mild lotion seems to have balanced out the skin all over my face.

Fabulous Face
By HopieG

I've been using this mild yet magical toner for many years and it's never disappointed. Long ago, I was even a DHC customer model it made my skin that great!!! Originally, I never understood why I needed to wash and then tone. Now that I am a dedicated believer, I can honestly say that it truly adds a special dimension when used following your favorite DHC cleanser. My skin is smoother and ready for my moisturizing regime. It makes a difference because it effectively and gently prepares my skin for the next step. There has never been irritation, redness or any allergic reaction and my skin is exceptionally sensitive. I began using this product when I was much younger with different skin needs. Now my daughters, who have different skin problems use this same toner and they love it too!! Make no mistake, this is mild and gentle, but it's tough on the job!!!
Great Product! I buy it all the time!

I use this am and pm after washing my face, it is gentle yet effective. I always have a bit of residual makeup, but this gets it, and gently!

As soon as I used the sample, I loved it. Nice that it nourishes the skin as well.
A toner I can use!
By Candi and library director

I use this toner after cleansing with Deep Cleansing Oil. I just put a small amount in the palm of my hand and spread it over my face, neck, and chest. In the past, toners have tended to irritate my skin. Now, using DHC's cleaning oil and Mild Toner II I rarely have a breakout, my pores are smaller, and my skin is smoother. I just use DHC's makeup base and no foundation. I rarely use another moisturizer, especially during the summer, at bedtime. Just love this stuff!

Irritating
By liz SC

This lotion caused irritation and some redness. My skin just did not like it! The glass bottle is heavy and just has a round opening so it's messy pouring out and difficult to control.I will not be reordering.
water-based moisturizer works for me
By Beth

I can use this all over my face - the oily areas and the normal areas. It's the right amount of moisture when I'm in a humid climate, so I don't use a moisturizer, just this. It has just enough stickiness to make powder or foundation apply nicely. I think it is equal in performance to the water-based moisturizer for oily skin, which I've used for some time and really like, but there might be differences I haven't yet detected.
Mild Lotion II -- ? better
By Dorrie

I switched from Mild Lotion, to II and all seemed well for a few months. But lately, my face skin has been dry, itchy, and some peeling. The Lotion II stings. Probably not the cause of the problem, but irritating to use at present.
