First time for the lip defining pencil - wasted my money....the color doesn't show at all and it doesn't stay on very long. I don't like that I had to buy two separate things to make the pencil work.

The Lip Liner Perfect Pro Holder is FAR FROM PERFECT. The caps fall off both ends and it's very frustrating. Couldn't you make this product just a little more quality for the price? It's quite junky for DHC quality products.

I use the product to help my lips, again this cold weather is drying and I don't like lip balm, so this product helps with the drying and also looks good on. I purchased the lighter color and am pleased with the color as well as the way it feels, it's light & smooth where lip balm is thick.

Unlike the first review I just read, I think this is a great product. Not only does it keep everything clean in my pocketbook-it is the only lip liner I take with me because I don't have to worry about the cap falling off. I also think it is great that once the color you selected is done; you can keep everything else and just purchase a new color. I also think it's an ingenious idea because you can buy multiple color liners and just snap in the color you are using for that day and keep it with you. One lip liner holder works just fine on multiple color liners. I like not have to mess with a sharpener, which I have at times ended up tossing out more of the product I purchased because it did not sharpen properly; not a problem with this design. I ended up buying a few just because I like to have multiple items if I find them to be an improvement on an old product and because I can keep each brush dedicated to certain color tone. Although, cleaning the lip brush is very easy. I love how well the brush smoothes onto my lips and it has the perfect width for my lips when gliding on a color (+and that is exactly what it does, glides on). I purchased about 6 lip brushes from a company I won't name, but a well known company, for "travel" lip brushes. You were supposed to be able to just pull top section up easily and it would open and then close to keep things clean. Well, out of all 6 of the brushes I purchased, the mechanism to slide the brush open and they are useless for taking with me because they make a mess. I say WELL DONE DHC, this was a great idea and I absolutely LOVE this product. And on sale, [$] is a great deal for an item I can continue to use and not have to toss away once I have used up the liner.

I disagree with the previous review (sorry, Trish) b/c if you read the description, you know this is one of many DHC products that reduces unnecessary waste by allowing you to purchase the holder or case once, then save money by only purchasing the refills as you need them. I wish more companies marketed products like this!

It is really silly to make money off of women in this regard. Every company automatically puts the lip liner with the case, not seperate. How CHEAP can DHC get?
I couldn't believe it when I recieved my lip liner and it was 1 inch long...with out a case. UNNBELIEAVABLE!
