I pair this with the acerola gel in the morning after washing my face. My face feels very refreshed afterwards. I do see an improvement in softness and even tone. It helps slightly with pore size.

I gave this toner 3 stars because it is moisturizing and alcohol free. Will not irritate skin but has the possibility of making you break out. I bought the whole Acerola line and had to give the cream and extract to my mom who has dry skin because they were so moisturizing, it made my skin very oily and made me break out. I kept the toner because I can still use it when my skin feels dry. I still have to be careful not to use it often so I don't break out.

I have combination & sensitive skin and would get hormonal break-outs BEFORE I started using this lotion. Now I never break out, and I get comments all the time on my clear skin. And this lotion is SO refreshing, my skin feels like it's sighing in relief the second I put it on. If this ever gets discontinued, I don't know what my skin and I would do... DHC, please always keep this line!!!

I've tried many different toners, some don't do much, some are irritating, some are scented too strongly. This one is perfect for my skin. It prevents dryness after washing, it brightens and smooths, and it calms my sensitive skin. It just plain feels good! I like to follow it with CoQ10 cream.

I splash this on like a man would pat his face after a shave, I don't like cotton balls, you pull with those! I use this in the warmer months and the fruit series in the winter months. I like to mix it up! Our summers are humid and this helps refresh and tone during the dog days of summer. I get the samples and take them traveling, saves room and very convenient!

I used this toner all summer and my skin remained neutral. Never too oily and no dryness. I re-ordered because of the price and it should help during the cold months because it seems to create a barrier against the elements.
