This cream worked fine for moisturizing, but I gave it only 2 stars because I'm comparing it to other DHC moisturizers. I tried this one in the hopes that it would minimize dark spots as stated and now that I've used the entire jar, it's done no such thing...so don't bother. Try the CoQ10 cream or lotion instead, or the silver platinum cream.

This is a nice day cream, but I don't feel it helped to brighten my skin. I use it after the shower when my skin is red from the hot water and it doesn't make it any redder, so in that respect, I it works. It does moisturize, but not for a long period of time. I still like it though.

I use this at bedtime and lightly under my foundation in the morning. I have seen dramatic improvement in my skin tone, age spots and wrinkles! I will never live without it!

I am 41 years old and I occassionally breakout with cystic acne (and I am a face picker). As I have gotten older my skin has changed and now when I pick my face after getting a zit, my skin turns brown (dark brown). I have been using this product for about 3 months, and I am happy to say that my brown spots have diminished tremendously!! I do not even have to worry about applying cover up make-up under my foundation. I feel more confident being around my significant other without wearing any make-up (but I do wear make-up when I leave the house - that is just me!!) And for what it is worth, this is the first time I have ever made a comment about any product I have used. And also, my skin is oily too, and this product does not make me break out.

If you have hyperpigmentation skin, and are looking for a way to diminish your brown spots, then this product is for you.

Also another thing, I started using this product all over my face for the first two months. But now my face is clear of many of the brown spots I use to have, I now only dab the cream on those spots I still want to get rid of completely.

And a little goes a long way!!

I chose alpha arbutin for winter dryness. I have combination skin. I use it twice a day, morn and night, to reduce dryness outside the T-zone area. It works. I received a sample and was hooked. It's not greasy. My preference is under makeup. But I have gotten more "how radient your face looks" comments when I use alpha arbutin white cream alone.

I have such severe dry skin that have always needed
to apply vaseline to bottom half of face as other
moisturizers don't relieve the discomfort from dryness. This product makes that unnecessary for the
first time. I love it.
