Miss the discontinued product
By Karla

Comments about DHC Designing Pencil Eyebrow:
Please bring back the eyebrow/eyeliner perfect pro with the sponge tip. Those were great products. If I had known they were going to be discontinued I would have stocked up on them

I had previously left a bad review for this brow pencil. I've experimented with it and found that it goes on much easier if you apply AFTER applying your face cream. With the old sponge applicator you couldn't get any cream near your brows until after application. I apply my face cream all over my face and then tissue lightly across my brows. This little extra helps the pencil go on smoothly and it blends well with a brush. I've not had any problem with it smearing or wearing off. It's actually still on when I get up in the morning as I'm never without eyebrow fill in.
I want my eyebrow pencil back!!

I loved the original product the pro perfect eye brow pencil with the powder and pencil refills. BEST EVER Eyebrow pencil. Went on smoothly & naturally. I have thin brows & have had to use a pencil since I was 17. I have tried everything over the years. Now I have to look to other brands to find something comparable to your discontinued product. PLEASE PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!

I prefer the discontinued eye brow pencil. Loved it and hope it will be back before I run out of it.
Not too good

The pencil is very dry and therefore you really have to press it on to your eyebrow extremely hard. I even tried to draw a line on my hand and it would not work unless I pressed until my hand turned red. They need to add more moisturizer to the pencil

Unhappy customer
I've used this a couple of times now and it doesn't hold a candle to the sponge tip applicator. I use this due to loss of eyebrows. This pencil is very rough on the skin in the brow area and I end up pulling out brows. The skin is red where I have to rub and rub to get this pencil color on. It's really no different than the pencils you can buy at the local drug or dollar stores. I'm very unhappy with this change. I considered the perfect pro the best eyebrow product on the market.
Miss the old version

I miss the old version so much. I used to stock pile the old product because I was so afraid that they would be discontinued. The new product has the same great brown color but not the same texture, convenience, or the staying power. Why, oh why, would you ever get rid of that great product? I'm giving three stars for the color because it is so rare but hope that they bring back the old product.
I know my pencils! Been using one for 65

My hair is dark, but highlited with grey in front. My eyebrows are white and the right one is "geezer".I got the black/browm and apply it with the side of the pencil and it works just fine. I also use a brush to lighten if needed.
Not happy

This eyebrow pencil is a huge letdown after they discontinued the powder eyebrow system. I LOVED the original eyebrow powder (pro perfect), I depended on it and I can't believe they changed to this ordinary and unimpressive pencil. The color is not flattering, it's a pain to apply and it looks harsh. SO disappointed in DHC, they get you hooked on a product and then I guess if it's not a money maker, it's gone. Happened to me with the liquid make-up, too. I'm going to try another eyebrow product from another company.
Good overall but requires a sharpener
By Jude

Easy to apply and I like the color (soft brown). Definitely would like a sharpener to come with the pencil as it needs to be sharpened often. It does come off easily, but this is still one of the better pencils I've tried. I liked the old pencil better that did not need sharpening even though it required a holder.
