I thought I'd try this as an alternative to the deep cleansing oil. I really liked the scent of the sample and the ability to use it on wet or dry skin. But maybe I'm not a serum kind of person - I'm not liking the texture. It works fine, but I think I'll be going back to the deep cleansing oil.

I am very disappointed that this will be discontinued. Deep Cleansing Oil dose a great job, but when I use it around my eyes, it gives my skin stinging feeling... This Mild Touch Cleansing Oil is so mild that I never felt that, yet removes all my eye makeup. I bought two bottles before it become all sold out.
In the future, I might have to buy it whenever I visit my family in Japan.

This is my favorite DHC product and it is used AM/PM daily. It is light, effective and there is nothing like it to remove sunscreen, makeup and leave my skin feeling clean and protected. I count on this product to remove all traces of sunscreen which always caused my skin to breakout. The added bonus is that it makes my skin extra soft, never tight and NO sensitive skin reaction. What a TREASURE!

I use this product as a facial cleanser in place of soap. It is the best cleanser I have ever used. My skin used to be oily and flakey, and now when I wash it is smooth and clean. Don't let the name fool you. It is not oily and really cleans your skin without stripping your skin of natural oils like soap can. I am so sad that this product is being discontinued. I've never ever found a product like this anywhere else. I recommend using it by rubbing it all over your face and rinsing with water. It will not lather but your face will be clean and smooth after rinsing. I also use a mild scrub once a week for cell turnover.

This is the best makeup remover I have ever used. I have combination skin and was reluctant to use this for fear it may be too greasy, but it's not! My skin looks younger and clearer! Please do not discontinue!

I have been using Mild Touch Cleansing Oil, in all of its incarnations, since 2008 and I actually prefer it to its more celebrated cousin, Deep Cleansing Oil, for several reasons. First, Mild Touch Oil is thinner. For me, that means it spreads more easily and evenly over the face and I actually use less of the product. Second, this product is designed to work with steam and water and rubbing it in a minute or two before stepping into a warm shower increases its effectiveness greatly. Those reviewers lamenting that Mild Touch Cleansing Oil left behind make-up likely are not using this product in conjunction with a shower or even a steamy wet washcloth. And, third, though I have used Deep Cleansing Oil and do believe it to be an excellent product, I cannot quite get past the smell. Mild Cleansing Oil is simply scent-free. Now, as for those complaints that you don't want to get Mild Cleaning Oil in your eyes -- That's correct. It will sting. DHC makes an eye make-up remover and this isn't it.
