I have been eating brown rice for 40 years and this is the best I have ever tasted hands down. I use my rice cooker and it comes out perfect. Package would be better if it had a zip lock kind of closure on it.

Love this rice! I know brown rice is much better for you than white rice, but most just don't taste that great. Not so with this one. It has a delightful nutty flavor and great texture. I serve it to my husband and he doesn't even know he is eating brown rice. It is expensive for rice, but it's the best I've found out there.

I can buy many varieties of rice at my local co-op, but have yet to find germinated varieties. I am a huge fan of this flavorful rice; the texture and flavor can not be beat. I can't wait to make this in my new Japanese rice cooker!

Grounds any non glutenous meal with the fullness that glutenous meals appear to give. It is very nutritious, burns evenly throughout the day, and fantastic in the digestive tract. Brown rice porridge in the morning is fantastic if you have IBS.

I've been buying DHC's germinated brown rice for years and recommend it highly. In fact, it's gotten me back into eating brown rice after having given up on bland tasting brands. This one tastes really good.

I think I like the old packaging better, but, it's easy enough to transfer it to a container more suitable to an individual's pantry.

This is the best short grain rice I have ever purchased. It has a unique nutty taste and texture and is great for family dinners; but also makes a great substitute for a healthier sushi, paella,risotto or biryani dish for company. Originally grown in Japan,I was concerned when DHC began sourcing it from California; but there has been no change in quality, in fact, it has been consistently high quality for the +- 10 years that I have been buying it. DHC please keep it coming!
