Interests and hobbies
Since I've moved to the Bay Area from New Jersey, I've been crazy about nature. I love to camp and hike in the summer and ski in the winter. I also really enjoy dancing and yoga.
Most memorable travel destination
There were many moments throughout my visit to Jordan where I felt a sense of peace in just observing what was around me. I remember looking out over a hillside village at sunset as the evening call to prayers sounded from minarets all across the village, and waking up after a night of camping in the desert to a tranquil sunrise. It was so different from home, and yet I didn't feel one bit out of place.
On her travel wish-list
I had a one-day stopover in Ethiopia once and spent a day exploring a very non-tourist city. I'd love to go back and explore a bit more, especially since it's not a place that many people visit.
Outdoor beauty "must"
I love White Sunscreen. It goes on light, and the container is the perfect size for packing.
All-time favorite beauty look
If I could have Jennifer Lopez's skin for the rest of my life, I'd be in heaven.
Beauty advice
Stand up straight and walk with confidence! And if your hips swing a little, good for you.

My inspiration
My amazing friends. They are everything I'm not in all the right ways and offer their endless support and honesty.
Staying healthy
I try to eat organic, whole foods although I'm extremely partial to all things bad for me. Luckily I'm surrounded by active people who motivate me to get outside and exercise.
When I feel most beautiful
Waking up with nothing to do on a beautiful day after a good night's sleep.
Favorite time of the day
I suppose it depends on the day … meal times are always enjoyable.
I feel happiest when
I'm experiencing something for the first time. It's so easy to go about your day-to-day routine without anything changing. Whether it's traveling or meeting new people, breaking up my routine keeps me energized.
Travel-beauty advice
It's hard taking good care of your skin when you're traveling, especially when you're moving quickly between different time zones and climates. I'm always sure to drink lots of water when I travel to keep myself hydrated. I also bring my Olive Virgin Oil. It's super moisturizing, which is exactly what I need after exposing my skin to dry air on long flights. I also can't live without the Q10 Facial Film Soap when I travel. I pack ultra-light and these are the perfect solution. I can just throw a few into my bag and I don't need to worry about spilling or bulkiness. |
