I like cooking with vegetables from our garden. Our 8-year-old will eat practically anything because he is used to a variety of foods!
I feel passionate about
Our youth. Not only do I teach information to students, but I also try to teach them how to get along with one another. There is so much strife and tension in today’s world. I feel that it is my duty to help students understand and appreciate everyone’s contributions to our society.
What I value most in a friend
The ability to keep your innermost feelings sacred. Everyone needs at least one person in their life that they can tell anything to.
Favorite fictional hero
Scarlett O’Hara is the epitome of a Southern woman. She’s fiercely loyal, goes after what she wants and still manages to look great in the process.
Idea of perfect happiness
Lying on the bed with my husband and sons while we talk, laugh and play.
Talent I would most like to have
I wish I were bilingual. My husband and I love to travel.

My back porch. You’ve not seen a sunset until you’ve seen one on the Mississippi Delta.
Something you’d never guess about me
I’ll try anything at least once—whether it’s zip-lining through the wilderness or being the novice poker player. Teachers like to have fun, too! |
