OCCUPATION
I am a data coordinator for an Internet job-posting
distribution company.
INTERESTS AND HOBBIES
I have been around animals my whole life and have
a deep love for them. In my teens I was an accomplished
equestrian. I also love cats and donate to many organizations,
including the Tri-Valley SPCA, which is near my home.
I plan to spend a lot of my time volunteering at this
great shelter, and I hope to one day build and manage
my own shelter for abandoned, neglected, and abused
cats. On my days off, you will usually find me watching
documentaries, reading, or out at my favorite parks
in the San Francisco Bay Area. I love to hike or just
take a relaxing walk while taking photographs at the
botanical gardens.
FAVORITE PLACES
I have two favorite places: Disneyland and Okinawa.
The fun and fantasy of Disneyland is something I have
never outgrown. My other favorite place is a small
village named Yomitan on the island of Okinawa. This
is the village where my mother grew up. I was fortunate
to be able to visit Yomitan with her five years ago.
I will never forget the peacefulness of this village,
the gorgeous ocean, and the kindness of the people.
WHAT I TREASURE
The morals and values my mother taught me. One of
the most important things to me is to keep her memory
alive and to grow and evolve into someone she would
be proud of. I plan to go back to Japan and learn
more about my mothers side of the family and the
Japanese culture.
