HOW I RECHARGE
Although I might be cursed with early laugh lines, laughing is as important
to me as eating and sleeping. When I laugh hard enough, I start snorting—it’s very embarrassing. My consolation is that both my son and my mother snort, too.
I NEVER THOUGHT I’D TRY IT, BUT AM SO GLAD I DID
Five years ago, my ex-husband got me to join an online dating service. He met his present wife there and wanted me to give it a chance. I met a wonderful man, Michael, and he proposed to me on my birthday. We have so much in common, including sons who are the same age and who are both named Christopher!
FAVORITE TRADITION
My son and I get our portrait taken each year and pick fun outdoor places. One year, my son took charge—he chose the location and the poses and insisted on wearing a tie. I will always treasure this captured moment.
THE DHC DIFFERENCE
I received a catalog with free samples, but feared using the products because they had the word “oil” on them. (During my 20s, I was cursed with horrible facial acne.)
