Do I need to use a booster if I’m already
using a moisturizer?
It can be a good idea to incorporate boosters into your skincare routine. Boosters and moisturizers often serve different purposes. A moisturizer utilizes rich humectants and oils to hydrate the skin. DHC Tocophero E Cream,
rich in olive oil, is a great example of a hydrator.
A booster delivers a potent concentration of a beneficial ingredient to target a specific concern. Antioxidant-rich DHC Olive Leaf Extract helps fight free radicals with a concentrated formula that promotes firmness and revitalization to environmentally-stressed skin.
Yikes! My first dark spot has appeared.
Any tips onmaking it less noticeable?
For targeting discolorations and other problem areas, absorptive DHC Alpha-Arbutin White Powder is an ideal addition to your skincare regimen. After toning, apply this brightening powder-to-liquid formula directly on the desired area to help promote a more even complexion. You can also add it to your favorite DHC moisturizer for a nutritive boost.
DHC offers several different brightening
products. How do I know which one is right for me?
All of our brightening products help create a more luminous
complexion; their differences lie in their varying formulas.
Acerola (pronounced assa-ROH-luh) berry extract—the
star ingredient in our Acerola Lotion toner and Acerola
Gel moisturizer—is laden with all-natural vitamin
C. This multi-tasking vitamin is an antioxidant all-star
that also works to even out skin tone and tighten pores.
If your skin is normal to oily, this light and refreshing
water-based duo is for you. Our White Lotion and White Cream
are formulated with mulberry and licorice extracts—two
herbal brighteners known in Asia for generations to fight
uneven skin tone and discoloration. Designed with normal
to drier skin in mind, White Lotion contains amino acids
that penetrate deep into skin to lock in moisture, while
White Cream is an emollient-rich moisturizer with olive
oil, squalane, and vitamin C to fight aging signs by boosting
elastin and collagen. For those sensitive to topical vitamin
C, we offer the Alpha-Arbutin (pronounced ar-BYOO-tin) series—four
scientifically advanced products formulated with alpha-arbutin
in place of vitamin C. This formula is further enhanced
with a blend of mulberry bark, peony, and kudzu ingredients.
Could you please explain your different
vitamin C products?
DHC's selection of products of vitamin C products is designed
to meet the different needs of varying skin types. DHC Antiox
C is a light cream containing both vitamins C and E to leverage
free radical–neutralizing power, plus licorice to
brighten skin. Antiox C works well for all skin types that
show (or want to avoid) age signs, especially uneven skin
tone. DHC Vitamin C Essence is a highly concentrated yet
light, water-based spot treatment that's designed for all
skin types to target dark, ashy areas and wrinkles. Bursting
with vitamin C from acerola berries, our Acerola products
are all lightweight, water-based formulas that get the most
effective results when used together. DHC Acerola Lotion
(a toner), Acerola Gel (a moisturizer), and Acerola 100
(a concentrated complexion treatment), work well for normal
to oily skin types that want anti-aging and brightening
effects.
