Masami’s Brown Rice Curry Stir Fry
featuring DHC Organic Brown Rice Bowl
INGREDIENTS (serves 1-2)
1 DHC Organic Brown Rice Bowl
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1/2 medium red onion, chopped
4 kale leaves, chopped
1/2 cup orange or red bell pepper, sliced
1/2 cup cooked and shelled edamame
1/2 package flavored, baked tofu (approximately 4 oz.)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon curry powder
DIRECTIONS
Microwave rice bowl for 90 seconds, then set aside. Preheat wok or frying pan over high heat. Add oil, onions and kale and cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring often. Add bell pepper, edamame and flavored tofu. Stir-fry for 30 seconds. Stir in soy sauce and curry powder until thoroughly mixed, followed
by brown rice. Cook for an additional 30 seconds; remove from heat and serve.
