Simple Pleasures
Tennis on a warm sunny day, taking a long bike
ride, planning a vacation, laughing with my
daughters, enjoying a good meal, spending time
with my boyfriend, Murray.
Favorite
Escape
Spending a day at the spa with girlfriends is
such a treat. We start the day off with a workout
in the gym, followed by a yoga or stretch class.
We change into our bathing suits and head poolside
for lunch and a little sun. After a Jacuzzi,
sauna, and steam, we indulge in our favorite
body treatments such as a massage, facial, or
body wrap. It's a true escape that leaves me
feeling healthy, pampered, and rejuvenated.
Top 3 Goals Right
Now
1. To help guide my two daughters (20-year-old
Dana and 18-year-old Carly)
through their college years and young adulthood.
2. To increase my knowledge and maintain focus
in building my painting business so that I can
ensure continued growth and success.
3. To find and maintain balance between business,
family, friends, and self.

DHC Products
My favorite product is Mild Soap. I love how
it leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth but
not tight. Another great product is Hydrating
Nighttime Moisture. I use it in the morning
and at night to soothe and hydrate my skin.
Antiox C and Tocophero E Cream make my skin
feel strong and look radiant without being heavy.
I use Facial Scrub once a week. I love how smooth
my skin is afterward. I use Velvet Skin Coat
for smoother makeup that lasts all day. Hair
Treatment is great for my color-treated, sun-bleached
hair. As I am outdoors a lot and wash my hair
daily due to gym workouts, Hair Treatment is
one of my favorites; my hair has never looked
so good. So far, I have loved every DHC product
I have tried.

My
biggest inspiration
was my husband, Craig, who passed away after
a four-year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's
Disease). During his illness he taught me
what courage and character really are. He
loved Dana, Carly, and me more than anything.
He made sure we were taken care of during
his illness and prepared us emotionally
for the inevitable. It was a most difficult
task given the depth of his love. He was
unselfish. He managed to bring out the best
in all of us. While dealing with his impending
death, unable to talk or move, he worked
with me daily, preparing me to take over
the family painting business to ensure that
I would be able to take care of our daughters
and myself. The process of his death was
an amazing experience. It was painful, but
it was also inspiring to all of us who knew
Craig. It helped me to learn all that I
was capable of and changed the way I live
my life on a daily basis—it helped
me to face my fears. I now look forward
to new and challenging experiences and hope
that I am an inspiration to my daughters. |
