I have a private practice in child and family therapy.
I also perform forensic interviews and evaluations.

Interests and hobbies
I enjoy researching the benefits of herbs and the food/mood connection. I find that cooking relaxes me after a hectic day, and decorating the feng shui way surrounds me with a comfortable aura

My greatest achievement
Graduating summa cum laude with a master’s degree at the age of 48.

Something you’d never guess about me
I own and ride a Harley Davidson Fat Boy^®, and the best pet that I’ve ever had was a squirrel. I’ve also had the privilege of rehabilitating several other squirrels.

Necessary extravagance
Weekend road trips on the Harley, fresh flowers, candles and Godiva chocolate.

How I spend my weekend
Visiting family, cooking and grilling with friends, and watching Tyler Perry movies.

Where I see myself in ten years
Writing children’s books addressing issues such as positive communication, abuse, self-esteem and anger management.

Idea of perfect happiness
Happiness is a state of mind, and it manifests itself quite often when I listen attentively, look past the surface, feel the texture, taste the flavor and take the time to "smell the roses."

Favorite place in the world
The island of Saint Barthélemy in the Caribbean. It’s small, quaint, pristine and largely uncommercialized. The people are naturally beautiful, and I love conversing in French.
