I own two businesses: Flying Pan Productions, an advertising and design agency, and redoux, an interior decorating business. I also produce and publish a home and garden magazine called redoux home.
What inspires me
Art, music, my family, people who give of themselves and work to make things better.
Favorite place in the world
That's hard—I love Paris and Stockholm. There are so many places I'd like to go … Ultimately I think it's the Black Hills, South Dakota (but not the touristy spots).
Best four-legged friend
A shar-pei named Sharpie.
My greatest achievements
Starting my businesses, raising three well-adjusted kids … and when I was in high school, convincing my mom to move to Sweden and making the arrangements so it could happen.
