Lucia: Mystery novels and history books, dining out,
calligraphy, and illuminated manuscripts. Patrick
and Lucia: We both enjoy going to museums, but our
most avid interests of all are our sons: 22-year-old
Nick and 17-year-old Patrick.
LUCIA, HOW DID YOU
FIRST DISCOVER DHC?
I got a catalog one day, enjoyed the free samples,
and took it from there. Prior to that I had stuck
with hypoallergenic brands, but some gave me terrible
rashes. And I hated the thought of spending a ton
of money. I love that DHC products are such a great
value.
PATRICK, HOW WERE
YOU INTRODUCED TO OUR MEN'S LINE?
I was looking for ways to care for my skin and appearance
without all the nips and tucks to which you see people subjecting
themselves. Watching Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
showed me what was possible for male skincare, but when
I checked out the products they featured, I was stunned
at how expensive they were. But then my wife surprised me
with items from your men's line that she saw in your catalog,
and believe me, they were a hit! When the chief makeup artist
on Boston Legal told me that my skin looked so
good I didn't need makeup, I knew I was doing something
right—that something being DHC.
WHAT SHOULD PEOPLE
KNOW ABOUT DHC?
Patrick and Lucia: DHC has great products for sensitive
skin and shows great confidence in their products
through the samples they provide. DHC also shows great
customer loyalty and has good incentive programs.
And finally, the Internet ordering system is incredibly
easy and fast delivery is very quick.

FAVORITE DHC PRODUCTS
Concentrated Eye Cream: My eyes tend to get
dry, particularly when wearing contacts. Applying
the Concentrated Eye Cream, with its moisturizing
properties, makes me feel refreshed. Over time,
the dark circles under my eyes have lightened,
making me look younger and more energized.
Pure Soap [Men]: I can wash my face more often
without a drying effect.
Soft Lotion [Men]: This is very soothing, especially
after shaving.
LUCIA'S FAVORITE DHC
PRODUCTS
Aloe Essence: I have very dry and itchy skin,
and this miraculously calms it, particularly
when I am tired, stressed, or have been traveling.
Olive Leaf Cream: This is the best moisturizer
I have ever used. I used to have to pour moisturizers
on, and an hour later my skin would feel tight
and flaky. Now I just use a small amount of
Olive Leaf Cream, and my skin feels soft and
comfortable all day long.
