Proper nutrition is easy when you're prepared. Summer comes with a busy schedule. Don't leave proper nutrition to chance. My No.1 tip for healthy eating is preparation: I spend a few hours every Sunday peeling carrots, cooking oatmeal, making soup, rinsing fruit, and then I package everything into single servings, ready to grab and go.

BONNIE'S FITNESS: TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SEASON
I love to stay consistent with my yoga and weight training during the summer season, but I add in swimming to stay cool, refreshed and limber all over. Plus, it's fun to swim with the kids and have water-gun fights. I do wear a swim cap to protect my hair color, though!

I drink lemon juice and water in the morning to make the body alkaline, and I drink lots of green tea and eat lots of raw vegetables. I have been doing this plan since 1985.
