It's getting hotter, I'm sweating more, and I'm using several sheets of Blotting Paper a day. Is it possible to overdo it?

No, there's no limit to how many times you can use the shine-removing sheets of DHC Blotting Paper, which are powder-free and made with 100% natural hemp. Just be sure you're not rubbing your skin too roughly. To use: Gently press against the surface of your skin throughout the day to remove excess oil as needed. (About 2-3 times a day, 1-2 sheets per use, is recommended.)

How are B vitamins beneficial to oily skin?

Different B vitamins target oily skin in different ways, which is why DHC uses a variety of these oilyskin defiers in our products. Some key B vitamins beneficial to oily skin are riboflavin (B2), which nourishes the skin; niacinamide (B3), which helps fight flare-ups; pyridoxine (B6), which helps control sebum; and moisturizing panthenol (B5), which helps promote cell turnover and keeps blemish-prone areas hydrated while they are recovering. Experience the advantages of B vitamins in DHC B Mix Cream and in DHC's newest addition,Vitamin B Powder. Use the powder alone or add it to B Mix Cream to boost the B vitamin efficacy.

I'm in my 30s, but I still have breakouts on my T-zone. What products will help get my skin under control? Can combination skin use a moisturizer?

Most of us have struggled with problem skin at one time or another. So many things affect your skin—weather, stress, and hormones, just to name a few. Let's start with the cleansers: If you wear makeup every day, then purify your pores with DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, which is appropriate for all complexions, even oily. Follow this with DHC Pure Soap, specifically formulated to normalize blemish-prone complexions and reduce excess shine. Next it's toner time: DHC Balancing Lotion restores pH levels and uses glycolic acid to help remove dead skin cells—essential for clearing up breakouts. Then specifically target problem areas with DHC B Mix Cream. It contains B vitamins to soothe skin and help control oil. Now for the moisturizer: People make the mistake of using harsh treatments to dry out their skin, but it's important to moisturize—overdrying the skin causes glands to produce excess sebum, often leading to breakouts, and thereby creating a vicious cycle. DHC Emollient Balm is a great choice. It's a fast-absorbing, lightweight moisturizer.

*DHC Acerola products are also a great option for normal to oily skin types, especially for those who want anti-aging brightening effects.
