Okay so farMy dark spots seem somewhat lighter after 3 weeks. Easily covered with a light concealer.. I hope it keeps working
Would this product help with or have any effect on post acne hyperpigmentation? Or is it solely for age/sun spots?

While darkness caused by sun damage is a result of excess melanin, and acne scarring is a result of trauma to skin tissue, we're unsure what kind of results you'll achieve while using Age and Sun Spot Targeted Gel for scarring; however, added Niacinamide provides exceptional calming and could prove to be beneficial. I’m confused. Two answers at the top say to use this gel after moisturizing. But a third answer farther down says use it before moisturizing. So which is it?

Because of its silky-smooth finish, it works nicely as a primer; however, the hydration it provides makes it an excellent booster. Can this product be used with with Skin Refresh? If so, in what order please and when?

We typically recommend applying Skin Refresh at night. It can easily be added to an existing routine and is applied to post-cleansed skin, before toner.
We recommend applying Age and Sun Spot Targeted Gel after daily moisturizer. It can be used day and/or night; however, it imparts a smooth, silky finish that works nicely under makeup (should you decide to apply some).

For best results, apply Vitamin C Essence during the day, on freshly cleansed skin (before ANY other products, including toner).

Aside from texture, how is this product different from the Vitamin C Essence? I'm thinking you would use one or the other, not both at the same time.

Vitamin C Essence is an amazing product because as an antioxidant, it contributes notable age-defying benefits and is especially helpful in the fight against daytime free radical aggressors. Vitamin C also has the ability to help protect and support existing collagen and imparts a brightening benefit.
Age and Sun Spot Targeted Gel uses a different blend to help with brightening. Not only does it use added vitamin C to help brighten, but added Niacinamide does too!! Additionally, added niacinamide lends a soothing benefit, which also deters irritation that can aggravate dark spots.
We hope you like it as much as we do and remember; when using a brightening product it's imperative to incorporate a daily sunscreen, keeping in mind the sun is one of the greatest contributors to the development of unwanted dark spots.
