Rated 5 out of 5 by kmr276 from Great all-in-one product This has been one of my favorite products from DHC. It does take a couple of minutes to dry since it is a gel, and a little goes a long way. But it does it all - absorbs like a serum, moisturizes, keeps my skin soft, brightens + no scent to disturb sinuses/allergies. I would love to know more about how it prevents wrinkles - for future use, but so far it has worked better than anything else I've tried.

Can you apply this product to the delicate under eye area?

Hello. While Astaxanthin was not formulated for use around the immediate eye area, we do not recommend applying it inside the orbital bone area. Instead, we recommend CoQ10 Eye Cream for addressing aging concerns like fine lines and loss of elasticity. At the same time, Concentrated Eye Cream provides exceptional moisture and helps to smooth fine lines and relieve darkness.  Can this product cause face peeling

Since this is an antioxidant, would you recommend using this in place of a vitamin C serum or would you still use them together?

While free radicals can damage healthy skin cells and contribute to the appearance of fine lines and accelerated aging, antioxidants are used to defend against the negative effect free radicals have on the skin. Antioxidants are widely used in our formulations and include vitamin E, vitamin C, coenzyme Q10, astaxanthin, olive leaf extract, etc. Each of these antioxidants not only serve to fight against free radical damage, but impart their own unique benefits as well. For example; in addition to vitamin C providing antioxidant benefits, it also imparts a brightening benefit, vitamin E is strengthening and conditioning, coenzyme Q10 provides firming, etc. Though astaxanthin's antioxidant "activity" is very similar to vitamin C, there's nothing saying you cant use both. We expect you could see an improvement in clarity, overall brightening, and tone. Please remember that although we have confidence in the potential benefits our products provide, we are realistic enough to advise that individual results will vary and it's crucial to integrate daily sunscreen to prevent future dark spots (should you be using Astaxanthin or vitamin C for brightening).
