Brightening Sunscreen is formulated with 100% mineral-based sun protectors, with broad spectrum SPF 30, to fend off the number one cause of premature aging—the sun.

Two skin-protecting natural minerals—titanium dioxide and zinc oxide—block both UVA rays that cause fine lines and wrinkles and UVB rays that cause skin-damaging sunburns.

Size 1 fl. oz.

Unique Features & Benefits

  • Coral reef safe and formulated without oxybenzone.
  • Dullness all but disappears with the help of skin-brightening vitamin C.
  • Skin is protected from the harmful sun rays that cause premature aging and sunburns by titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, natural alternatives to chemical protectors that can absorb into skin.
  • The look of dark spots and hyperpigmentation is reduced thanks to the plant-based superpowers of alpha arbutin, known for its skin-brightening effects that make it one of the top skincare alternatives to hydroquinone without the risks.
  • Lightweight enough to wear under makeup and floats on top of skin without clogging pores or exposing the body to harmful chemicals.

Ingredients

  • 2 mineral protectors: Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are earth minerals used in sunscreens for their ability to block both skin-damaging UVA and skin-burning UVB rays.
  • Superpowered plant-based brightener: Alpha arbutin, a technologically advanced brightener, is known to reduce the look of dark spots and hyperpigmentation caused by premature aging.
  • Vitamin C: Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, a stabilized form of vitamin C is used as an antioxidant and skin brightener.
  • Olive nutrients: A combination of olive leaf extract, rich in the naturally occurring coenzyme Q10, and olive oil, give skin a boost of nourishing antioxidants, hydration and additional protection from free radicals.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unusual for Japanese Products This sunscreen is average at best. One saving grace is that it blends into the skin relatively easy. However, for a Japanese skin care product, it should blend in even more and be completely invisible. Generally speaking, cosmetic companies from Asia formulate some of the most cosmetically elegant sunscreen products. This is not, I’m afraid. I suggest this product for those individuals with very oily, acne skin types only.
