I finally found one of your products that I liked almost as much as the Face Wash and now you're discontinuing it as well. Very disappointing.
I am 85 and recently developed rosacea, successfully treated from breakout by diet and ozelaicacid Cream. Buts ometimes my skin itches. I tried yr Hatomugi wash samples and was happy with its soothing. Does the wash affect the acid cream?

Hello.
We're sorry we can't provide you with a definitive answer regarding how Hatomugi Face Wash would affect your skin as we're not educated on the properties of Ozelaicacid Cream, and have further reservations because Rosacea is a medical skin condition. It's our suggestion that you please consider consulting your physician for suggestions and to determine which ingredients they prefer you avoid.

I am 67 and have had hormonal acne for at least 20 years now. Have been under a dermatologist care for 5 years. Nothing is helping. I do not want to take oral antibiotics. I am curious to try this cleanser but still on the fence as my skin is sensitive.

Hello.
Although we consider Hatomugi Face Wash suitable for blemish-prone skin; we strongly suggest speaking with your dermatologist or physician before starting a new skin care routine, as acne is considered a medical skin condition.

for aging skin still prone to breakouts during perimenopause, which collection would be better - pore or hatomugi? i’m trying to minimize breakouts on sensitive skin, but i’m still looking for moisture…

Hello.
Without knowing what's causing the blemishes you're experiencing, it's difficult to say what ingredients might benefit you. Often times, perimenopausal skin is subject to hormonal fluctuations that increase irritation. Additionally, a decrease in oil production leads to exaggerated fine lines due to dryness and dehydration. Knowing these are prominent characteristics of perimenopausal skin, we think the Hatomugi products are a good choice. They provide much needed moisture and soothing to skin experiencing dehydration and heightened irritation.
If you think your skin can benefit from some of the pore-refining benefits our Pore products offer, you can mix-and-match. For example; you might like using the Pore Face Wash and benefiting from the alpha hydroxy acid benefits. Maybe you would like to continue by using the Hatomugi Lotion to hydrate and soothe afterwards. In summary, we're suggesting that you use all/some of the products from one/both collections according to your skin's needs and personal preference.
Thank you for choosing DHC and have a beautiful day!
