Follow Mild Lotion II with Olive Virgin Oil Essential Cream. True to its name, this luxuriously rich moisturizer is made with our signature organic olive oil from Spain and ultra-purified in Japan. While rich enough for the driest of skin, it absorbs quickly and also includes other botanicals such as rice bran oil, squalane, and beeswax to nourish the skin with antioxidants and promote healthy-looking skin.

From Mild to Mild 2I noticed this one is more gentle on my skin and leaves me feeling moisturized and not dry. Refreshing. I have been using the regular Mild one for some years now. I’m happy with my DHC skin care products. They last me for a few months too. Cost effective. High performing.

Great ComboI needed the lotion and the olive cream and was happy to see it as a combination at a lower price than buying separately. Love both products; the olive oil cream is my favorite night time moisturizer with the matching essence.
My skin is normally a combination. But the past two years I have dry redness sensitive skin on my checks. Can get flaky too all over. I've tried all but your olive cream and essence. Everything burns and aggravates. Any suggestions?

While the Olive Virgin Oil Essential Cream and Mild Lotion II are considered suitable for dry and sensitive skin types, individual sensitivities and ingredient tolerance vary greatly. That being said, the product's formulas are chocked full of soothing and hydration, which are beneficial to dry and sensitive skin types. If the flakiness is due to dehydration and a compromised moisture barrier, its our hope that the intense hydration provided by Mild Lotion II will ease aridness and that the beeswax and olive virgin oil in the Olive Virgin Oil Essential Cream will add a comforting barrier to hold in hydration and soothe irritation.

Are these products good for blemish-prone skin?

Although Mild Lotion II and Olive Virgin Oil Essential Cream should not aggravate blemish-prone skin, they are not specifically formulated for blemish-prone skin types. That being said; we prefer our Hatomugi Face Wash, Lotion, and lightweight Milk for blemish prone skin as hatomugi (also known as Job's tears or coixseed) proves to be well-tolerated and beneficial for blemish-prone skin.
