Job Title: Assistant Marketing Manager, Acquisition and Retention

The Assistant Marketing Manager, Acquisition and Retention will be responsible for assisting in the management of executing and evaluating digital marketing across email and paid advertising efforts. You will own the day-to-day management of digital and email A/B testing, scheduling, campaign analysis and reporting. You will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and work closely with stakeholders across departments.

Email Marketing:

  • Own and manage email calendars to ensure all campaigns are sent out on time
  • Perform A/B testing on subject lines, email content, cadence and send times to increase email performance
  • Analyze campaign performance and use data to make optimization suggestions
  • QA and deploy email campaigns that drive revenue growth through acquisition, retention and up-sell
  • Maintain email reporting and propose tests and optimizations for current and future campaigns
  • Own email execution for active members, building loyalty and retention from day one via lifecycle, transactional/triggered and promotional campaigns

Digital Marketing:

  • Own and manage digital ad calendar to ensure campaigns/stories are aligned across all channels
  • Own creative handoff process end-to-end, including working with creative team to ensure timely delivery, create and QA UTM codes, filling out handoff template and distributing assets to external vendors
  • Perform A/B tests on messaging, imagery, ad type and CTAs
  • Track campaign performance and propose optimizations for current and future campaigns

Our ideal candidate:

  • Business to Consumer experience, beauty industry a plus
  • 2-3 years digital or email marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong presentation skills
  • Experience managing major ESP
  • Experience managing digital marketing vendors (web display, paid social, Search & Shopping, Affiliate, Email)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, ability to use data to understand, measure and optimize marketing campaigns
  • Experience owning email and digital marketing calendars
  • Experience with A/B testing and audience segmentation
  • Ability to assess all paid marketing channels via reporting and storytelling
  • Agile and comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter and comes to the table with ideas and questions
