Placing an order
To order online, add at least one product to your shopping bag and then complete your order by clicking CHECKOUT. Orders to the Federated States of Micronesia or Marshall Islands use international shipping rates. To place orders to these US territories, please call 1.800.DHC.CARE (342.2273). Orders and requests are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping.
An order confirmation with the order number will immediately appear in the same window after you submit your order. Shortly after, you’ll receive an order confirmation email which will include your order number (the same number that appeared on our website after successful submission of an order), the details of the products and corresponding prices, any credits or promotional discounts, taxes, shipping charges (if applicable), your ship-to and bill-to information, and the ship method.
You can check the status of your order anytime by creating an account and logging in. To create an account, click here. You’ll receive a second email with tracking details when your order has shipped.
You can access your order history, check out faster, save frequently used address, and more all in your online account.

When you place an order through our toll-free number, the shipping costs and delivery schedule are the same as our online shipping costs and delivery schedule.
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express®, and Discover Card. When your credit card is authorized, funds are put on hold until the transaction is completed. When the order is shipped, the payment is processed.
Your billing information must be exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. If any numbers are different, the order cannot be processed. Be sure to correctly spell city names and avoid using abbreviations unless that is how your information appears on your statement. Contact your financial institution if you need the exact billing address associated with your credit card.
For your security, DHC may require you to enter your 3- or 4-digit card identification number (CID/CVN/CVV/CVC) on certain orders for Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. See below for help with credit card identification numbers.
Visa/MC/Discover Card Customers:
Your Security Code/CID (Card Identification Number) is in the signature area on the back of the card (it is the last 3 digits AFTER the credit card account number). Visa/MC/Discover customer CIDS are 3 digits.
American Express Customers:
Your Security Code/CID (Card Identification Number) is a 4-digit number on the front of the card, ABOVE the embossed (raised) credit card account number. This number is referred to as the "Security Code." American Express customer CIDs are 4 digits.
The amount of your order is held on your debit card and the debit card owner does not have access to these funds until the hold is taken off. Holds usually last 3-5 business days and may vary with your financial institution. Holds are usually taken off within 3-5 business days. Policies differ from bank to bank. Call your financial institution for more details.
Online credits are automatically applied to your DHCcare.com order as the first method of payment. There are no codes to remember or numbers to type. Online credit is not redeemable or exchangeable for cash and cannot be used at our retail stores. Online credits can be issued to gift recipients in lieu of a credit or product return.
eGift Cards are virtual cards with a 12-digit alphanumeric code. You can pay for your order with an eGift Card and you can use up to two per order. DHC eGift cards can be purchased in any denomination from $10 to $150 on www.dhccare.com.
We use Address Verification as an additional security measure to reduce fraudulent charges. Some gift card issuers may not participate in address verification. In those cases, you will need to register your card for online use by using the issuer's web address or 800 number. You'll find this information on the back of the gift card or in a leaflet that comes with the card. Or you can place your order using an alternative method of payment.
PayPal enables individuals with PayPal accounts to pay with your credit card, debit card, bank account, or PayPal account balance for purchasing orders on dhccare.com.
Amazon Pay enables Amazon customers to use the payment methods stored in their Amazon.com account as an alternate method for purchasing orders on dhccare.com.
Checks & Money Orders
DHC will no longer accept personal checks or money orders as a form of payment for online orders.
Fraud Protection Program
All payment forms are subject to verification and review by DHC. DHC reserves the right to refuse to process any transaction, sale, or shipment of orders due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity.
Earn rewards points simply by shopping for your favorite products. You can redeem your rewards points to pay for your purchases, including tax and shipping. To learn more about the Tokuten Rewards program, click here.
Cancel or Change Order
To change or cancel an order, please contact us. If your order has already shipped, you can process it for a return or exchange.
We collect local and state sales tax on orders shipped within the U.S. Tax is estimated at the time an order is placed and a final calculation of the actual sales tax will be reflected on your order confirmation email and order details online.
Colorado Regulatory Fee
Effective July 1st, 2022 and in compliance Colorado state law, orders shipped to addresses in Colorado will will incur a $0.27 Colorado Regulatory Fee. This fee is automatically applied and shown when choosing a shipping method when placing an order.
Stored Payment Methods
Stored payment methods allow you to save your credit card information in a secure, online vault for quicker and easier checkout on future orders. To view and/or remove any saved payment methods, login to the DHCCARE account, and go to https://www.dhccare.com/vault/cards/listaction/. Note that stored payment methods cannot be updated; only removed.
